What is the maximum group size you can host?
Up to 500 guests in one booking when the room plan uses twin, triple and dormitory sharing together. Above 350 guests we usually recommend a full property buyout for smoother meal and function timings.
What is the per-person cost for a large group?
Group rates start around ₹1,499 per person per night with breakfast and ₹2,199 per person per night with all meals, on twin sharing for groups of 25 or more. Peak dates and premium categories cost more; larger groups get better slabs.
Do you offer discounts for bigger groups?
Yes. Slabs go from the base group rate for 20–49 guests up to roughly 16% off for 200–349 guests, plus complimentary coordinator rooms, a lawn or the banquet hall for one function depending on the size.
Can you keep all our rooms in the same block?
Yes. Groups are allotted contiguous rooms in the same wing wherever inventory allows, which is why we ask for the rooming list a week in advance instead of assigning rooms at the front desk.
Do you have triple sharing and dormitory options?
Yes — 25 rooms take triple or quad occupancy and six dormitory halls sleep 8 to 12 each. Dorms are commonly used for school groups, trekking batches, support staff and drivers, with separate blocks for boys and girls.
How much advance is required to block rooms?
30% of the total confirms the block in writing, 40% is due fifteen days before arrival and the balance is settled at check-out. You receive a written hold before any payment.
What is the cancellation policy for group bookings?
Cancellations 30 days before arrival are largely refundable. Closer to the date, retention applies as per the written proposal. Minor headcount changes up to 72 hours before arrival are adjusted without penalty.
Can we change the final headcount after booking?
Yes, within reason. Share the final count 72 hours before arrival so the kitchen and housekeeping can plan. Adding rooms later depends on availability, especially on weekends.
Are all meals included in the group package?
The AP plan includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner plus evening tea with snacks. Room-with-breakfast plans are available if the group plans to eat out during sightseeing days.
Do you serve pure vegetarian and Jain food?
Yes. A pure-vegetarian counter runs at every meal, and Jain, no-onion-garlic, vegan and diabetic plates are prepared individually when the count is shared seven days before arrival.
How long does it take to serve a 200-guest meal?
About 40 minutes. Four to six counters run in parallel with service points at both ends of the hall, and larger groups are served in two announced batches to avoid queues.
Is there a hall for a function or session?
Yes — a banquet and conference hall for sessions, prize distributions, sangeet nights or a rainy-day backup, plus two lawns for outdoor functions with stage and sound available.
Can you arrange jeep safaris for a big group?
Yes, with advance forest department permits. Each jeep carries six guests, so 120 guests need 20 jeeps booked several weeks ahead. Zones are allotted by the department, not by the resort.
Do you arrange buses from Delhi and other cities?
Yes — 12, 26 and 45-seater coaches with GPS-tracked drivers from Delhi NCR, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Dehradun and Haldwani, plus railway station and airport transfers.
How far is the property from Ramnagar railway station?
3 km, about ten minutes. Resort shuttles meet the platform and clear a 150-guest arrival in two trips. Pantnagar airport is 145 km and Delhi IGI about 260 km.
Is early check-in possible for a group arriving at dawn?
Standard check-in is 12 noon, but overnight-bus groups are given early check-in or a holding area with washrooms and morning tea when we know the arrival time in advance.
What safety and security arrangements are in place?
Single entry gate with security, CCTV in common areas, night duty staff, fire extinguishers, a first-aid room, a doctor on call and Ramnagar hospitals within a ten-minute drive.
Is the property suitable for elderly guests?
Yes. Ground-floor rooms are reserved for senior guests on request, walkways are gentle and mostly step-free, and lighter meals such as khichdi, dalia and low-oil curries are prepared on request.
Can we host a wedding or baraat group here?
Yes. Wedding parties use the lawns for functions, the banquet hall for sangeet and the room block for baraat guests. Decor, DJ and pandit arrangements are coordinated locally.
Is alcohol allowed for group functions?
Licensed bar service is available for adult groups. School, college and family groups can opt for a completely dry stay, which we enforce across the block.
What is the best season for a large group trip here?
October to March is the most comfortable and the best window for safari. Monsoon months are green and considerably cheaper, which suits budget-driven school and college groups.
How early should we book for a group of 100 or more?
45 to 60 days ahead. Weekend dates from October to March and long weekends fill first, and safari permits for large batches also need that much lead time.
Will we get one point of contact during the stay?
Yes. A group coordinator is assigned from enquiry to departure, with a duty manager and a kitchen contact reachable on WhatsApp throughout the stay.
